GALE SPEED / GLIDE Wheel After-Sales Service Q&A

【About New Wheels】

Q Can powder coating or anodizing be applied after the product has arrived?
A Powder coating and anodizing can only be accepted at the time of wheel order. Since the manufacturing process differs from the standard lineup,
even if unused, applications after delivery cannot be accepted.

Q

I replaced my bike, can I install the wheels used on the previous bike onto the new bike?

A
●If a different wheel part number is set for the new bike model you want to install
If the product part numbers differ for each model, installation as is will not be possible.
If the base wheel is common, it can be converted for the desired model using the Conversion Service.
To confirm compatibility, please contact us via the Conversion Service Inquiry/Application Form.

●If there is no wheel lineup for the desired bike model
Gale Speed and Glide wheels are all designed specifically for each bike model.
If there is no lineup available, compatibility is not possible.
Please note that the product warranty will not be provided if installed on incompatible vehicles, even if the wheels are new.

■ We do not provide any product warranty for used products even if any malfunction occurs during use. Please understand this in advance.

Q Can wheels for model ●●● be used for different models?
A ●If the wheel part number for the model you want to fit is set separately
If the product part numbers differ for each model, you cannot install the wheel as is. If the base wheel is common, you can have it reassembled for your desired model using our Convert Service. To confirm whether the base wheel is common, please contact us via the Convert Service Inquiry/Application Form.
●If there is no wheel lineup for the model you want to fit
All GALE SPEED and GLIDE wheels are designed specifically for each model. If there is no lineup available, the wheel will not fit, and we cannot accept conversion requests. Please understand that we cannot take any responsibility or guarantee for products installed on incompatible vehicles.

Q I’m not sure if I can convert my wheel for another model. Can you check for me?
A Please contact us via the Convert Service Inquiry/Application Form.

【Maintenance & After-Service】

Q How should I perform routine maintenance?
A Thoroughly wet the wheels with water and wash them with a neutral car wash detergent or similar product. Then rinse off the detergent completely with water and wipe dry with a soft cloth. Please do not use aggressive detergents or parts cleaners. Especially for semi-matte black finishes, no clear coat (top coat) is applied to maintain texture, so please be careful not to damage the paint.

Q What is the recommended replacement timing for each part?
A Wear depends greatly on usage conditions and environment. The following are just guidelines. Please always have regular inspections performed at a shop or similar.
● Cush Drive Dampers: Inspect during tire changes and replace if there is significant play or damage.
● Rubber Seal Bearings: Inspect during tire changes; replace if you feel rough rotation, play, or grease loss.
● Air Valves: Recommended replacement every tire change.

Q Can I purchase attachment parts individually?
A
The attachment (hub) assembled at the center of the wheel is a non-disassemblable part, so we do not sell repairs individually.
We do offer repair services by receiving the product. Please contact us via the Contact Form with details of the repair you want. Attaching photos of the repair area will help us respond more smoothly.

Q What is the tightening torque for the air valve?
A
Tighten until the rubber is just starting to compress, so it does not move easily by hand.
After installation, always check for air leaks.
● Reference torque: about 1.5 to 2.0 N·m (0.15 to 0.2 kg·m) (Torque is a guideline since the product uses rubber.)

Q My wheel was bent in a fall. Can you repair it?
A We do not repair wheels that are scratched or deformed.

Q Repaint Service— Will it make my wheel look like new?
A Minor scratches and dullness will be less noticeable, but the finish depends on the original wheel surface condition.
If there are dents or degradation, these will not be completely hidden even after repainting. Please understand this in advance.
