Painting method |
| In the corona charging method, a negative high voltage is generated from the high voltage generator of the paint gun to the corona pin at the tip, and the ions generated by corona discharge adhere to the paint particles and then to the object to be painted. The corona charging method is the most widely used powder coating method in the world, and can be used with any paint. It is characterized by being relatively resistant to humidity around the painting site, which has a negative effect on the triboelectric charging method. |
Painting process |
| High voltage is applied to the electrode at the tip of the spray gun, creating an electric field between the gun and the object to be painted. At the same time, the object to be painted, with the powder particles discharged from the gun attached to it, is placed in an oven and heated at 150-200°C. The heated powder particles gradually melt, and a chemical reaction causes the polymer to form a network-like structure, which is smoothed and then hardened to form a durable coating. |
